Somewhat inflammatory, but still mighty...

And the video:

I find her a bit naive with the whole "Government should look out for us" and so.
Have they ever?
Still, she's damn right.

I can't stand her delivery on that subject! But it's effective despite that. If only more people would watch this and tune into some Rant projects  Cry

Keep in mind that the video above is engineered so that it fits EXACTLY into the sound-bite format that is comprehensible to soccer moms.

Contrast this video from one of the hottest advertising firms in NY, which is most definitely NOT tongue in cheek; these guys create advertising for almost all of the top fortune 50 companies.

Again; they aren't joking with this video. This is the promo video they show to potential clients; If you don't believe me, go to psyop.tv and watch the pfizer ads. Most. evil. ads. ever.

Oh my god, psyop is evil. Their ads seem like parodies of actual ads, and the fact that they are serious makes it really scary.

Doh! Of course, how couldn't I see that! With that perspective that video was very cleverly put together.

It's like those Saturday morning cartoon villians who talk about being evil and doing things in the name of darkness and such but these guys seem way more upbeat about it.

The musical style is an exact duplicate of "Schoolhouse rock" which was an educational video popular during the early 80s. It was also required that childrens programming contain "educational content", which is why schoolhouse rock was created. GI Joe and Transformers contained educational messages at the end for the exact same reason. The legistlation AFAICT is still in place, but enforcement is  obviously pretty lax.

The reason Psyop chose schoolhouse rock was because it triggers a "I am learning something" feeling in viewers, tricking them into internalizing the Psyop message. The name "psyop anthem" is no accident either; anthem being defined here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthem . Go to their website and watch the PPP video from their Propaganda section. Note that PPP itself is an acronym for Philosophy Politics and Psychology (CIA terminology). I am not trying to infer some kind of conspiracy here, since Psyop are refreshingly open about their cynical exploitation of the human psyche Smiley

I thought this film was good in the fact that it was concise, but it's over simplified and left-bias.  For a comprehensive documentary on the same subject, I would check out "The Century Of Self" by Adam Curtis.  It takes a while to watch though.
