Hello. I am from the US and there is an election coming up. Out of all the candidates I think Ron Paul has got it going on. He is the only Republican who is against the war. He wants to abolish the IRS for good, stop the drug war and is against chipping people. He is also against the government policing the world and its citizens. The media has chosen their favored candidates to be shown on tv. I haven't even seen Ron Paul on any of the 'news' programs. FOX didn't even include him in their televised debates. Damn I hate the media. They really do control everything we see on the 'godbox'. Funny thing is...most people aren't even aware of it. My 2 cents.

I completely agree. I don't understand why people don't see how awesome he is. I might be able to say I was proud of my country if things changed the way he wanted them to. It makes me sad to see the ignorant folks not understand any of it.

Here is a CNN spot of Ron Paul and his lack of media coverage. Most of his supporters are from the internet. The 'netroots' movement. I don't really like politics but its scary how the media is manipulating the voters.

If I was American I would vote for this guy! By far the best man for the job in my personal opinion but what chance does he have if the media wont give the guy a fair showing.
http://www.youtube.com/v/-I73Ac1r2Ko&rel=1I love that quote from him "Government can't protect individuals from themselves, it's imposable, otherwise they become a tyrannical state". He knows what’s going on.

Yeah, I think he is the only guy to have Republicans, Democrats, and people from all the other parties voting for him. In fact, he is the only guy I know of who has gotten the Anarchists to come out and vote.
He finished second in Nevada and Fox News said "...but he has no chance of winning the Presidency."
The problem with him is that he is not a member of the CFR or the Tri-Lateral Commission and we all know that every president in modern history has belonged to one or both of these groups. That being said, if you were among the power elite, and had unlimited money and power, would you let Ron Paul get elected? Furthermore, would you do ANYTHING to keep him out? I think Fox News is the least of RP's worries.

Check this out, this is how the news, when they can't block him out, make him look like the bad guy or that his supporters are trouble makers.

Its sick how the 'media' spins it their way. How do you fight against such a powerful force such as the mainstream media? They're just a bunch of clowns jumping through a hoop. What happened to the true journalist? He/she was probably threatened that they would lose their job if they reported the truth. Go Anonymous. heh.

His Google Talks interview is the most informative in my opinion, you can find it on Google Video. Even though he got second place in Nevada, Fox News left him out of the poll records on TV - but I'm sure you're probably aware of that. He looks like he's got second in Louisiana too but the media has not given him much air time at all.

I've seen a little bit on Ron Paul but nothing in the media. Especially over here in Iraq, we only see what we are supposed to see and it infuriates me when a presidential candidate isn't even mentioned. He's for a whole bunch of things pertaining to the military that are good things. Decreasing the ever-mentioned-but-never-fixed pay gap between the military and private sector is my personal favorite. The pay-gap is something that most people don't see unless they're in, but once you're in you can't fix it.
He's for a whole lot of things that look good to me, and he's going to get my vote, but we'll see what happens. I'm hoping that this media black-out breaks soon, because if it doesn't, he really isn't going to have a chance.
Not only that, but he isn't against gay marriage. Brownie points from me on that one.
