If you are interested in learning more about the keyboard TEMPEST story that was on the 27 Oct 08 show, the link to the researchers' site is http://lasecwww.epfl.ch/keyboard/

There isn't anything more here than was in the article linked to by the show but Martin Vuagnoux and Sylvain Pasini promise to publish their paper there after the peer review process is complete.

Holy crap, that is nuts. I definitely want some shielding for my computers now. That doesn't seem hard to do at all. There are four methods to compromise the info and one of them always works. I have often wondered how hard that would be to do but I always assumed you would have to be close to the location.
