For anyone wondering, I'm bowing out. It was great being here but I have to move on. I wish I could stay and keep contributing here but it just can't continue.

It was fun and I thank everyone for everything they have done.

There were a few documentaries floating around rebutting Morgan Spurlock's documentary. People have actually lost weight eating the same diet...

When I was a slave to McDonalds, I didn't loose weight. I only ate one value meal a day (super sized) and I gained around 50 or so pounds before I broke free. I swear McDonalds food is addicting. It's too poor of quality to be so hard to give up.

Yeah, I used to be on the Fast Food addiction train.  But then one day, I got sick of watching my dollars go down their whirlpool.  So now I cook most nights.

And I cook for some small groups of friends and you know what?  I still have money left in my pocket than what I used to spend at mCd's. (1 super sized meal.)

Interesting. I haven't seen that 'till today.

I'd like to see some of these counter-documentaries 101011 mentioned.

It IS a matter of self control though, just like smoking, drugs, alcohol, etc.

Addicting? Perhaps.

3x a day for a month is just f-ing insane.
I drink too much soda, I'll admit. I'm at a good weight, although I doubt I'm really healthy.

Slaves to convenience, most of us are, in a sense.

You might as well see his new movie "where in the world is osama bin laden?"
It´s pretty funny, check it out.

Took me a bit, but I found the documentary that made me do a "double take."

I personally like this part:

That's awesome. I dislike fast food chains as much as the next person but as usual, logic tends to prevail when these things are held to proper scrutiny.
