Am I the only one who thinks Sean should do more Rants? I mean they are short, entertaining and pretty cool.

Maybe people within the Rant community should do some rants. I'd like to hear em.

I actually stopped listening to NewReal only for the fact that most of the news I heard Sean talking about didn't really interest me. If I wanted odd news, I'm sure I could find plenty of it on Digg.com.

Personally I'd rather him (and Cimm) devoting more time to the Patrolling series. It was more interesting to me to see the various subjects he found interesting and useful. I'm curious how he'd mod his truck in WOG style...

Same for me here, I listened to many an episode of NewsReal but the last few months stopped downloading it as the news wasn't really what "I need to survive" as Sean puts it. It is possible that Sean and Cimm are spreading themselves a little too thin with all the projects they have on the go.

So, on the subject of Sean's rants... They do bring in a crowd of people, they attract interest in RantMedia and what it is to be WoG. It is much more effective at bringing more people's attention to RantMedia than NewsReal currently does, Patrolling is even more effective. I don't hear of many people talk about finding RantMedia because of NewsReal so maybe Rant should focus mainly on the Patrolling side of things to turn it into a regular monthly release along with a weekly rant on current issues.

When it comes to Patrolling, Patrolling is all good and fine. I like it, however I still think there needs to be an "intro" to "what" Patrolling is that can be inserted at the beginning of season one and another for season two and yet another for season three.

Something short, maybe a minute or two long just giving an overview of what Patrolling is and why the watcher should watch.

On the rants, I think the rants were cool. They did get attention to rant and well, can't really have "Rant Media" without ... rants Tongue

As for NewsReal, I listen to it when I get the chance. It is good to be informed. Learning about whats going on in the world is important to survival, just like being physically and mentally prepared.

Back to Patrolling, I actually think there should be a redo of season one that covers areas that Sean said he would cover but never got around to it. I'm not saying a TOTAL redo, but maybe reuse film from season one and add new film to it. Same with season two. That's just my opinion.
