Interesting idea.  it lacks passion, purpose meaning and people who go to watch or listen to Al Gore or Anthony Robbins are just being taken for an emotional roller coaster and prostitution..

I have seen the TED talks before and it is a window into the minds of the elite. Very informative but you have to also know who their audience is and who they are and where they are coming from.

There was one where the guy was showing that poor kids in Africa could make extremely complicated computer parts without any computer training. They were just trained how to make the parts and they did just as well as those with 4 and 6 year degrees from big universities.
