I'm going to have the opportunity here in the near future to occupy a 2 hour block on my college's radio sation.  I have every intention of occupying said block with rant material.  The question is: What should I put on?  The quick and easy thing to do would be The Afternow, but I wanted to gauge other people's opinions as well.  I would be willing to make the necessary edits to NewsReal (or any other material for that matter) in order to make it FCC friendly, I'd just start each broadcast by informing listeners that an uncensored version can be found at the respective website.

Great idea, i would vote for Afternow as well,  newsreal or others might be 'offensive"

I'd highly suggest running some newsreal. Possibly some of the rants too (although most of them do have swearing and it is not FCC compliant Tongue).

I  would suggest using any thing that is close to the line and can get you kicked off the station and other sanctions.  Try some Afternow and see how its goes first.  If you think you can get away with some thing strong, use your best judgment.

just thought I'd inform you all that starting next Thursday, Afternow will be playing on 97.5 WLCI in Ohio, I'll be plugging the live newsreal broadcast from SL at then end of each show
