Given that it was afternow, and Sean's amazing skills as a storyteller, that brought me to rant in the first place I have to say that Afternow (including the spinoff witchhunter chronicles) are my absolute favorite rant audio projects.

after that I make a point of listening to newsreal every week.

Tough one... Afternow is for me the dog nuts, I just love the concept and it deserves a bigger audience (although I feel most people just wont get it) but thats my number one. Then I'd say S.K. Radio Show, got to keep up to date with NewsReal and I love any rant from Sean. So in that order... I think.. for now anyway Huh

I remember I got into Rant Radio through Tales from the Afternow which I discovered on the Binary Revolution Forums (which I consequently discovered through textfiles.com), so naturally that has to take first for me.  A close second is NewsReel with Whathehell in third.

I would have to say my favorite is Afternow, I think that is just a great story, I love the way it is told, and even the way it sounds.  I'm actually a fan of the ealier season 1 stuff that sounded "worse", I think that added something to the feeling of the show.

If the poll questions was which do I find the most useful, or which do I think is the most important or has the most impact, I would have to say NewsReal.  I love that resource to get all the cool new tech news and the impact on my world.

I love Afternow, it's total genius. Yeah, I liked the first season more too.

I won't beg for more of it, though.

Though it would be neat if other people tried to do Afternow-universe audio books too.

I dunno about the first season being better than the second.  I mean, "The Miracle Man of Vietnam" is damn near the greatest story ever told AND it is based off of one of Johnny Cash's best songs.

The first season is better (to me) because it was... well, first. It set the stage for everything, it was a totally new experience, I had never heard anything like it before. I would get through days at school with my head down just listening to the whole thing through.

If I had to list my top three, I'd have to say

1. Newsreal, because I've heard tons of things on that that I didn't know or though was cool or pissed me off.
2. Tales from the Afternow. I prefered the first season to the second, but it was all damn good.
3. Sean Kennedy Rants. Because they're short, funny and interesting. Favourites would have to be Blair Witch, Scientology, Suicide, Professor, Stapler... I could go on. I'd like to see some more, but I'm not putting any pressure on anybody.

It really is difficult to put them in an order, since they are so different.

Educational: Newsreel
Entertaining: WTH
Fictional: Afternow

I voted for What the Hell, since I just love the entertaining and gross hospital stories  Cheesy

I guess the second season is good as well. Actually, the one single best episode for me is #15, where he meets his digital totem. That was awesome. But generally, the first season just feels more honest, like he's just starting a new project, not trying to live up to anything.

That's why I hope he never gets persuaded to do a season 3. It'd probably feel forced. Like the Who touring in their 60's, or a re-formed Monty Python with Alexei Sayle taking the place of Graham Chapman.
