Greetings to all the fellow Washington State Wogs out there. I have noticed a steady presence of us posting on these forums and thought it would be cool to organize a meetup. At this point, since I do not know where a lot of you are located, I am leaving the location open for now. The time frame I was considering was sometime near the end of April, giving us enough time for planning. Current Plan : ---------------x When : May 3rd (Saturday) @ 11:00 am Where : Bauhaus Books & Coffee http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=coffe+shops,+seattle&ie=UTF8&ll=47.617114,-122.327614&spn=0.006292,0.01442&t=h&z=16&iwloc=BWhat : Get the Washington State Wogs together to meet and greet. Have some coffee, talk about doing some hikes and maybe some camping this summer. **ALSO** : You got some cool kit, bring it. Show it off to others, share ideas, tips and tricks. If you can organize it, please try to carpool. Saves the WOGs money and gas. Current List of Antendees : ------------------------------x hatterofmaddnesz - Location Tacoma, WA avagdu oneeyedelf1 If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in a PM or just post below. Looking forward to meeting you

I am in Redmond, free most weekends. A hike would be cool, one thing though... why not meet up in Canada? We are only about 2.5 hours away from Vancouver.

I like the idea of a hike, if you would like to recommend a trail, please do. That would be kick ass.

So after seeing people interested everywhere form Olympia to Everett, I thought the best idea was to meet somewhere centralized. So after a little looking, I am thinking a coffee house in Seattle. I found a good little one right off I-5, so it shouldn't be that difficult to get to. Does anyone have transportation issues that might prevent them from making this happen? While I was shooting for the end of April, I am now thinking about the 1st Saturday in May. Of course if someone has any other suggestions, please speak up if you got a kick ass place that you think would work well. As far as time, right now I'm thinking late morning, so as not to take up the whole day. Just an hour or two meet and greet. I still would like to get a hike organized as well, that would be something good to talk about and maybe get some plans for one in the late spring or early summer, you know, whenever it stops snowing. Even talk about a "camping trip" which would be a good time to field test your AWOL bag, if you havent done so in awhile. The place I found is: Bauhaus Books & Coffee http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=coffe+shops,+seattle&ie=UTF8&ll=47.617114,-122.327614&spn=0.006292,0.01442&t=h&z=16&iwloc=B

Parking?
Like you'll actually drive yourself to Seattle! You can't even drive yourself to Costco or Cabelas, "Avagdu". nonwog (one contribution to your SEO at a time)
