Any time this month works for me. The further north the better, as I depend on public transportation, but give me a week's notice and I can most likely make it anywhere.

Do I dare have to ask that same question? I may be coming by the Olympia-Tacoma way and depending on Amtrak and public transportation.
Is there a good coffee house or some other place you guys recommend? I might be able to come earlier than usual, maybe stay an hour or so, then hop the train back on my way up to where I'm going.

That's further south than my stomping ground, so I can't recommend a place.

Last time we met at Bauhaus Books & Coffee in Seattle, but I don't know that plans are set at this point for another meet up so any suggestions are welcome.

This location as you suggest Avagdu from the last rant meet up is only about 1 miles or so from tne Downtown Seattle Geyhound station and King street station. Probably a good choice if if there is a meet up.
Got to ask, encrypted wifi or wifi access at the coffee house?
From my Google search, this place is supposed to have a good cup of Joe plus its on First Hill or near First Hill-Capitol Hill, so its probably quite close to Swedish hospital.

I am alive! Anyone going to hempfest tomorrow or sunday, it is supposed to be gorgeous tomorrow. I am going tomorrow, outlook doubtful on going sunday as well. I would enjoy coming again. I disappeard due to lack of time, the good thing is I much more free time and I have a new place. Also if you ever want to get my attention use PMs, they land in my email box telling me people are looking for me. It does look like it has free wifi http://www.openwifispots.com/spot_free_wifi_wireless_hotspot_Bauhaus_Books_and_Coffee_Seattle_WA_78.aspx

I am alive!
Oh man, we were worried about you. Glad to hear your still kicking around. Hempfest is this weekend, doh!! Why didn't I get the memo? Going fishing Saturday, hopefully I catch more than just a buzz. Looks like Total Devastation is playing Sunday, oh man, used to listen to them way back in the day!! That's dope, pun intended!! Sounds like there is some interest in doing another WA State meetup, that'd be cool. Maybe we could shoot for the last weekend of this month or whatever works good for everyones schedule. When do you guys have free time and feel like getting together?

I don't think my schedule is going to free up till the beginning of September.

I'm busy every weekend through October or have to have it free... DOH!
So it might have to be a midweek or some thing.. Reminds me, if I am going to the Vancouver BC thing in January, better get my passport before the mad rash of drunks that want to go up and have some fun parties the weekend before.. (no, not SK-CImm situation.)

Bauhaus looks good to me.
I could do most any day this month. In September, I think all my weekends are free. A middle of the week thing would be possible, but iffy. I have no idea about October yet.

Weekends work the best for me, I won't be around weekend of oct 11th&12th.
Also I wouldn't mind going for a hike afterwards if we meet at a place for coffee. Any takers? [For those using public transport I could give 3 of you a lift to the hike and back.] I cannot recommend a great place because I haven't been on as many hikes as I wanted to this year, but I certainly can pick one.
