Sadly SL is still not great for communicating with a large group of people. Whether in voice or merely typing, if there are more then 20 or so of you (even in an otherwise deserted sim), you are awaiting the inevitable freeze/crash.

Funny.  You ever been to one of Sean's SL broadcasts?

We've got pictures.

I'm the one sitting on the funny yellow toilet.

They might have been refering to discussions between a lot of people. Seans broadcasts are usually (last I seen) mostly a he talks, everyone listens. Afterwards there may be a lot of talking but if people don't take turns and huddle close its hard to understand everyone.

For anyone wondering, I'm bowing out. It was great being here but I have to move on. I wish I could stay and keep contributing here but it just can't continue.

It was fun and I thank everyone for everything they have done.

:-) I'm not going to worry, tooo much about Sean speaking.. If you listen to his hour or two hour shows, there is little doubt he has to keep the peaceful..

As Sean has said repeatedly, he's just a messenger type.. The Wog and the Whole second life thing is about creating what we want to see in the world.  All of us want to be active participants but not in a hierarchical, top down, government bureaucracy?

Really, I want to see an interactive space, that no one person is the most important unless their is some type of special meeting or need to discuss some thing.

Yep.. Get an irc client like gaim, mirc or what ever one uses for the particular operating system.

I would like to see a different world because right now things are screwed up..
