I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but I was reading Snow Crash for the billionth time, and noticed something.

SNOW CRASH -- Scientology
1- L. Bob Rife -- L. Ron Hubbard
they both were leaders of a dangerous brainwashing cult, use dangerous means, kill people, both had a ship to fuck off into the blue with. There are some parallels in the book if you look for them. I didn't notice it on the first read, but keep it in mind when you re-read it. Very interesting.
