So yeah, what of this nice little development?
RantMedia is a commercial enterprise. You need to read and understand the license to know it's illegal to "add this to the rotation" without securing the necessary rights:

Gee Im sorry, i didnt realize that im so retarded... I didnt realize that i had back cash coming to me for all those appearences for shows on this radio station. Ill have to sit down with Cimm so we can talk logistics of how im going to receive my millions of dollars of "internet money".....I hear they have alot in canada dontcha know?
Or maybe i dont get any money, because the station, regardless of weather or not they sell some merch, actually has the right to play the music in rotation due to the fact that Trent Reznor his goddamn self said they could.
Or maybe that disclaimer at the bottom of the page where you can download the music freely (theslip.nin.com) is wrong, and your right, and the 1992 denver broncos found the cure for cancer in a dive bar in Minnesota. What did that disclaimer say again....?
Oh yeah!! It said:
we encourage you to
remix it
share it with your friends,
post it on your blog,
play it on your podcast,
give it to strangers,
etc.

www.nin.comOHHHHHH THATS WHAT IT SAID.....
So yeah, its legal to do anything with it except to play it on a non-corporate radio station that has played creative commons licensed (share alike and non exempt)for nearly ten years now? Im sorry but ive never seen an Industrial compliation in the merch store before....so unless you and your buddies are streamripping the station, burning the result to cd, and selling the copies on ebay for gas money......im pretty sure playing it on the station would be ok and legal.
Just like it was legal to broadcast every piece of music from his last creative commons licensed album, Ghosts I-IV,on youtube in streaming format(Which is the literal definition of a broadcast in website form)even though customers and fans had to pay to hear the last three albums of the series. Trent is even hosting a video film festival encouraging users to use that payed-for content as part of a free broadcast.
Gee, next time i wont be so stupid.
(the majority of this is not actually directed at you dude, i just needed to lay down an incredibly long diatribe about how right i am and how wrong you are, the comment sort of came off rude, like i couldnt understand how to read or some shit. I simply ask you to present your opinion in a different way.)
So again i ask:
So what of this nice little development?
