Very Cool!

I'm downloading it now!

In my last hour of a night shift - at least I have something cool to listen to. Does this mean you're getting onto Rant?

Cimm and Smokey are saying yes provided I do a show once a week, Cimm actually was a bit more lenient saying once every two weeks could work.  I just wanna see this in practice with my new co-host before I make any dedications.  I love the things Cimm and Smokey do with rant media, and I would feel like a total ass if I fucked 'em over.

That's the same reasoning behind the new two hour show, our end - I'm happy to make sure we record once a week.

Good luck,  dude - I hope you can get broadcast :-)

I had a reply to episode 6, but I had a heck of a time editing down a 20 minute rant into an intelligent 10 minutes.  I could give it to you and you could decide what ten minutes to air if you wanted, depending on what is more pertinent to you.  I don't mind, I could expound on just about any subject thrown my way.

Just as a quick note: I like the music, but maybe you should turn it down a bit for the next episode.

Go ahead and send it, I hate censorship, but if I cut it into multiple episodes that can work.

Depleted uranium not harmful?  I don't think so.  It's a toxic waste by-product of the uranium enrichment process.

Do a Google search on 'depleted uranium birth defects' and you'll see some horrifying stuff.

That was in the documentary I mentioned.

Yes, handling the rounds do minimal damage, but breathing the particles from exploded rounds is very toxic.

And because it is airborne it is an indiscriminate weapon.

Commander in Chief powers of the president:

Yes, he can deploy troops for sixty days.  But a war is legally debatable.

For more information on this issue:

http://www.slate.com/id/1008290

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Declaration_of_war_by_the_United_States

Quote from wikipedia:

"Despite the constitutional requirement that Congress declare war, in practice, formal Declarations of War have occurred only upon prior request by the President. And contrary to the popular opinion that the framers of the Constitution intended that the President cannot engage in war without an act of Congress, in fact the framers chose the final wording with the intent of "leaving to the Executive the power to repel sudden attacks" without the explicit approval of Congress.[1] However, debate continues as to the legal extent of the President's authority in this regard."

So I suppose there's legal argument on either side.
