Notes On Transcribing:
- Transcribe word for word except for the following
- Condense any unnecessarily repeated words to just one instance.
- Omit any unnecessary instances of the phrases: "I mean", "You know", "You see", "Of Course", "So", and "Well"
- Skip any noises or laughing
- Trailing unfinished sentences or thoughts should be marked with '...'
- Use VLC (free) to listen at reduced speeds. Use the '[' key to slow down and  ']' to speed up.

Are there any set conventions established for these? It makes sense to me that all the transcriptions should be formatted the same.

As for format examples, take a look at the already transcribed episodes I-III on the download page (marked by TXT):

Some tips:

- Type out the narration word for word. Things you can leave out are things such as 'umm' and 'uhh' unless it's essential part of the story.
- Put in a timestamp once in a while (check the txt files for example)
- Try to organize the narration into sentences when possible

Hey everyone...  Just checking in with a progress report so you know that I haven't quit the project or been abducted by aliens.  I've been off and on this past week, either being busy with life or having the attention span of a gnat.

Right now, I'm about 59% done with episode 15, and if I burn the midnight oil tonight without getting distracted by shiny things on the internet, I should be close to finished with it.

Good work to everybody chipping away at these, by the way.  I can't imagine knocking out as many episodes as Doodle's been working on without losing my mind!   :o

Just completed transcribing new Afternow episodes 19 & 20 (Season 3) I will be transcribing episode 18 tomorrow! This bring the total to 50% transcribed.
