Now that the awards have been won and 'Tales from the Afternow: Little Rocks' has toured film festivals around the world, the Afternow DVD+Book Mega-Pack is now in being prepared! The release date for the mega-pack is scheduled for late 2011 with more details as time draws closer.

Wow, that's fantastic for you, but some of us might not have a whole lot of $$$ to throw down on something that is basically just a fancy repackaging of free content.  You do realize that times are a little bit tough for some people right now right?  And that nobody really cares what "Events" you attend when you don't even really participate in the community? (except, to find out info on more events)  Where does someone like yourself even get off ridiculing MindGrinder for something he said?  MG has been a VERY active participant in every subject on this forum and as far as I can tell is WAY more dedicated to Rant than you are.  That you would even have the nerve to make a comment like "I'd pay more than that and I also went to the 10nth" like that somehow validates you is just unbelievable.

I do have a tendency to misread people's intentions, and I do overreact sometimes.  I certainly hope that is the case here, because someone who just barely qualifies as more than a "Kimba" (see link below) talking to someone like MG like they are somehow more dedicated because they have more cash to throw around is just unforgivable.

Cimm, price it where you need to to recover costs and make a small profit, but keep the "little guys" who actually keep this community going in mind please.

Nobody here is better than anyone else, regardless of what they do or don't do or how often they post on the forum or what they post.

Some people may not agree with each other, and some people may not like each other, but that doesn't mean that we need to have all this infighting. I have been noticing that a lot in the past couple of years on the forum here and I don't think we are any better for it. Granted, I have been guilty of it as well, but I generally try and abstain. We are all pretty much trying to move in the same direction.


I am excited to have an Afternow megapack, I think it would be cool to maybe have the first production run autographed or something, just to give some of us hardcore fans a little more incentive to pick it up :)

Wow, what a bunch of complainers... I hope you guys got all that out of your system...

Here's an idea,  'Afternow' is creative commons,... go make yourselves your own afternow audio play (like some here have done...and very well done btw...)   or comic, or 'motion comic', or animation...  I wrapped production on 'little rocks' Feb 1 2010...  in the time since then I could have cranked out at least 10 more... IF I was so inclined (got my own productions to do first ;) ... you never know though... "Episode IX: Open Your Eyes"  has always been my fav ep... ;)

Anyways, what I'm getting at is take your energy and put it to something creative instead of griping on a forum...
