Anyone know where I can buy Cadpat material by the foot...

The problem with acquiring cadpat material is that it's a controlled item. The DND wants to keep as tight a grasp on it as they can in hopes of keeping it out of enemy hands preventing them from reverse engineering or worse defeating it. That said there are imitation brands of the pattern that you may be able to acquire.
Also, purchasing and selling a cadpat uniform is supposed to be restricted to licenced resellers, the only reseller I know of is Kingston's Smith's Army Surplus. I'm sure there are others you can find online however.

I have read that it is rather controlled by the Canadian government as well. However if you look on eBay you can find CADPAT  listed for sale by the yard. however I cannot speak to its quality but the stuff listed at least looks awful lot like CADPAT

The real secret of CADPAT as I understand it is the non IR reflective capability.

that's the shit im talking about :) I have yet to find it anywhere. there are so many nock offs these days at the surplus stores. I have been considering buying a good quality hunting pack. I actually got kicked out of a surplus store here in Edmonton cause i brought a black light with me and was checking some of the knockoffs... they glow under black light as well :D
